Comprehensive Nutrient Management Plan (CNMP) Training for Engineering and Agronomic Components

No CNMP training is planned for Minnesota for 2009.

See the University of Wisconsin Conservation Training web site for possible sessions in Wisconsin.

Description

This two-day training course provides an opportunity for both licensed engineers that work with manure and wastewater handling and storage systems and agricultural professionals that prepare nutrient management plans involving manure to obtain training required by NRCS in Minnesota to develop Comprehensive Nutrient Management Plans (CNMP). This state-specific course is considered equivalent to the National CNMP Training Courses and will provide individuals with an alternative training opportunity in Minnesota if unable to attend the National training. The first day includes classroom lectures and breakout sessions for both the agronomic and engineering components. The second day will involve visiting an actual feedlot site in the area to learn techniques in site evaluation and assessment from experienced site evaluators. More details, pdf file, 24 KB
